An Evening with Calm Impact
Imagine a local TED-talk-style presentation here in Las Cruces! Instead of the typical TED talk, this event will provide our local version of
Ideas that Inspire.
Please join us for an inspirational evening with some fun and amazing people. The evening will include a delicious dinner, great conversations, very intriguing items for auction, four awesome presentations (including two by young people).
The Ideas that Inspire event will support Calm Impact, a 501(c )3 nonprofit organization located in Las Cruces New Mexico. Calm Impact is a new organization that provides leadership development programs and capacity building for nonprofit organizations.

Do you have an idea for Ideas that Inspire?
There is still time to submit an idea, presentation, or video. We are looking for ideas that will transform our community, city or state or ideas and stories that transform lives. If you were going to deliver a TED talk, what would you say? Is there a message that you want to tell the world?
Deadline is September 4, 2026
Ideas and/or presentations submitted will be reviewed by an independent judging panel. Four presentations will be selected to present on October 15, 2026 at Ideas that Inspire an Evening with Calm Impact dinner event.
