Leadership Coaching

Leadership Coaching is a form of “executive coaching.” In today’s world, Executive Directors and community leaders often deal with an array of challenges. Leadership Coaching provides leaders with a path for self-reflection and professional development with a thought-partner. Leaders who engage in leadership coaching may tackle a variety of topics, including, effective communication, navigating internal and/or external politics, aligning personal values and professional role, implementation/execution of strategic initiatives, addressing underperforming team members, developing a culture of excellence and high performance, work/life balance, navigating transition, acute stress and more.

Strategic Planning and Capacity Building

Strategic Planning and Capacity Building.  Strategic planning is essential for organizations that seek to accomplish specific goals over a period of time. Calm Impact personnel has over 30-years experience providing strategic planning and capacity building to nonprofit organizations. Capacity Building includes strategic planning, social enterprise, systems creation and board leadership development. We also provide a variety of capacity building services, including custom workshops on Communication and Team Building.

Reflective Leadership 4-month Program.  

Reflective Leadership 4-month Program.  Leadership requires hard work, especially social justice leadership. In the last two years, community and nonprofit leaders have experienced overwhelming stress and burnout. This Reflective Leadership program provides community leaders with the opportunity to explore how to be an impactful leader despite acute stress and overwhelming challenges. The program consists of three components: (1) Reflective Leadership Coaching, (2) Cohort conversations and (3) one-day retreat on leadership and healing. The program begins with a workshop in the Spring. Over the course of four months, participants will have the opportunity to meet as a cohort and engage in cohort conversations. Topics may include -- dealing with stress and burnout, building a strong team, developing a team culture, sustainability, etc. Individuals will receive personalized reflective leadership coaching. The program will conclude with a two-day retreat. The number of participants in the program will range from 8 to 14 individuals.
